Car MOTs
The Ministry of Transport test (MOT) is a legal obligation for cars aged more than three years, or produced after 1960. It tests whether or not your car is safe and roadworthy.
By having your car's MOT test completed at A&D Motor Services, you can rest assured that our mechanics will conduct the test thoroughly. Should any repair work
need doing, there's no fee to retest the car after the repairs have been completed and there's not an obligation for you to have the repair work completed with us.

Car Services
Having your car serviced regularly is a good way of keeping it free of issues and in good working order. A service is best carried out annually, usually along with an MOT although your car will often tell you when it's time for its service by a light on the dashboard.
A car service usually covers the following components, although depending on how long it's been since your last service, there may be more to check:
- Changing the oil and oil filter
- Changing the spark plugs (petrol cars only)
- Replacing the air filter
- Checking the condition of pipes, valves and seals
